World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2024: Basi and A+A call for joint commitment

On the occasion of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work on 28 April 2024, the leading trade fair A+A and Basi, the German Federal Association for Occupational Safety and Health (Basi), are reaffirming their commitment to the further development of global occupational safety and health. Using the hashtag #WorldSafetyandHealthDay, A+A and its partner Basi are calling on everyone involved to discuss the future of safety and health on social networks. The aim is to find solutions for the wide-ranging challenges in a rapidly changing world of work.

ISSA: Report highlights rehabilitation services and Post-COVID-19 conditions

The ISSA (International Social Security Association) Working Group on Rehabilitation (IWGR) has produced the report “Rehabilitation for COVID-19 and Post-COVID-19 conditions”, which analyses how countries have addressed these issues. 38th International A+A Congress 2023 closes: significant interest in real-world occupational safety solutions

The 38th International A+A Congress 2023, organised by the German Federal Association for Occupational Safety and Health (Basi), was a showcase for sustainability in occupational safety. Some of the other topical issues discussed by the around 3,000 congress visitors included artificial intelligence and its potential applications, as well as the consequences of climate change. The A+A Congress was held in conjunction with the WearRAcon Europe Congress for Exoskeleton Technology and the autumn conference of the German Society of Workplace Science (GfA) in Düsseldorf.
