A large number of excellent proposals for presentations on OSH and prevention have been submitted for the A+A Congress 2021 in Düsseldorf. The Federal Association for Occupational Safety and Health (Basi) is very grateful for all proposals and has now started preparing the congress. The online portal for submitting proposals closed on 31 January 2021. However, if you missed the deadline and would still like to present an interesting topic at the A+A Congress, please contact the Basi team directly by calling +49 2241 231 6000 or via email: firstname.lastname@example.org
An overview of the planned events will be available from April 2021. Everyone who submitted a proposal will be notified in May/June 2021 as to whether their proposal will be included in the congress. The 37th International A+A Congress 2021 is the leading joint event for safety and health in Germany, with extensive international appeal. It will run from 26-29 October 2021 as a hybrid congress; that is, in a more compact format than the face-to-face congresses of previous years, and with the addition of digital components. Overall, there will be fewer time slots for the strategic and scientific programme. However, the organisers know how important it is to present the entire range of current OSH topics. These include Work 4.0, the future of work in Europe and worldwide, and implementing safety and health within global supply chains. The strategic approach of Vision Zero, a universal prevention culture which aims to prevent all fatal and serious workplace accidents and occupational diseases, plays a role that is as important as the objectives of the Joint German Occupational Safety and Health Strategy (GDA). The safe and healthy design of mobility, mobile work, home offices and basic work will all play a key role. Other important topics include sustainability, inclusion and demographic change in the world of work.
The International A+A Congress and the A+A World-Leading Trade Fair for Safety and Health at Work 2021 take place between 26-29 October 2021 in Düsseldorf. More information is available on the A+A website.
