Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) remain the number one work-related health problem and, to support their prevention, EU-OSHA started the 2020-2022 campaign: “Healthy Workplaces Lighten the Load” with several Official and Media Partners. Basi, Federal Association for Occupational Safety and Health, is the campaign's sole German media partner. Around 60% of all workers with a work-related health problem identify MSDs as their most serious issue, which means that the work on prevention and awareness-raising is far from over. For this reason, the support of the new official campaign partners and media partners will be crucial to help prevent and manage work-related MSDs through the promotion and exchange of good practices.
From an international ergonomics federation, to an organisation for education of employers, an international trade union of musicians and a construction services company, these new partners share a desire to make workplaces a safer space for workers by preventing and managing safety and health risks.
