Mireya Rifá Fabregat is an international expert in Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) with over 15 years of experience leading projects, audits and strategic initiatives across Europe. As Chief Manager of ECO-45 Consultoría S.L., she has implemented integrated management systems (ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001), coordinated risk assessments and behavioural safety programmes, and delivered training for multinational clients such as IAG. Her expertise also includes legal auditing, psychosocial risk analysis, and employee wellbeing.
She has held prominent leadership roles at European and global level, including President of the European Network of Safety and Health Professional Organisations (ENSHPO), Vice-Chair of AEPSAL in Spain, and Vice-Chair of IOSH’s Preventive Consultancy Working Group in the United Kingdom. Through these positions, she has driven collaboration, knowledge exchange and professional excellence in occupational health and sustainability networks.
A Certified EurOSHM and ISO Lead Auditor, Mireya is also an academic contributor and PhD candidate researching professional standards in OSH across European countries. Her work bridges science, policy, and practice, promoting safer, healthier, and more sustainable workplaces. Passionate about people and innovation, she combines technical rigour with a human-centred approach to wellbeing, embodying a truly European perspective in advancing HSE culture and performance.
