He is a member of several technical committees of ISO - IEC - CEN - DIN - AENOR etc. Otto Görnemann has given consultancy & seminars for the occupational safety & health authorities in Brazil (Ministry of Labor, Fundacentro), Israel (IIOSH), Japan (NIOSH), and other agencies, Chile (ACHS) Singapore ( SISO) Colombia (CCS) and CATIM (Portuguese notified body). Otto Görnemann is an expert in functional safety at SGA TÜV Saar and since 01.01.2018 Chairman of the Technical Committee for the Safety of Machines (TC199) of the ISO International Organization for Standardization as well as Chairman of the Technical Committee for the Safety of Machines (TC114) of the European Committee for Standardization CEN.
